Today in class, we watched the episode of the John Adams miniseries that explores the Boston Massacre and the trial of the British soldiers afterward. Also, students were given the questions for next Friday's Free Response Question essay. I've included a copy below.

Today we went over the Chapter 4 test and took some notes on the period after the French/Indian War. Make sure you have the correct article, "A New Kind of Revolution." Remember that a 10% summary is due on Monday. Tomorrow we'll watch an episode from the John Adams miniseries to get a great visual feel for the period. See you tomorrow. I've attached the hand out with the description of the 10% summary along with an example.
I was out today with a sick kid but I got into Norrix ninja style Tuesday night to make sure everything was ready for you today. The good news is that me being gone does not slow us down at all, I'll get the tests scanned tomorrow before school and we will proceed with Chapter 5 (The American Revolution) as planned.
I graded both your article questions from the slavery article and the Type 2 on the most recent article, both grades are in Pinnacle. So, outside of a few make up assignments from people that were absent, everything is in Pinnacle except for the Chapter 4 Learning Objectives and the test. Both will be in before the week is out, which will take us close to 300 points (we'll finish the trimester with roughly 1,000) For the article, you will write a 10% summary, I'll talk about this tomorrow. It won't be due until next week. I've updated the calendar with relevant due dates for next week. See you tomorrow. |
