12/12/2014

Today we went over the Expansionism/Slavery Test and worked on Monday's DBQ.  Remember, the essay will be written in class on Monday and you can not use notes you've created beforehand.  However, you will get a clean copy of the question/documents to use.

There are not pages assigned for Monday, but you will be expected to have the first 7-10 pages read by Tuesday so it would not be a bad idea to get a head start on the reading this weekend.  See you Monday.

Remember, you are supposed to have finished reading the chapter on slavery by tomorrow.

I've included a copy of the study guide for those that want to get started tonight.

Today, students took notes on the economic developments that led to slavery becoming entrenched in the Deep South.  Afterwards, time was spent on 16 practice stimulus based multiple choice questions.  After students had 16 minutes (the pace needed on the AP Exam) to answer these questions, we discussed both the prompts and the correct answer.

Remember that you have a 10% Summary of the article due on Tuesday and the chapter needs to be done by Wednesday.  Have a great weekend!
