Document Work/Political Cartoon

3/1/2017

Today in class we broke the remaining nine documents on the Progressivism DBQ into two mini-DBQs.  For each set of documents students analyzed their content and considered what developed analysis they would integrate and how they would be used in the context of their essay.  We also used these documents as a springboard to discuss the successes and limitations of the Progressive movement.

Students then had the remaining time to start a political cartoon that illustrated an important development during the Progressive movement with a short description on the back of the issue and any resulting change.

The reading for tomorrow (638-655) as been moved to Friday.
