9/11 on 9/12

It became clear during 1st period that many students were disappointed that their day yesterday did not include any mention of 9/11.  Given that I was gone, and your social studies course is the most likely venue for these discussions, we spent a significant portion of today talking about the events of September 11, 2001.  It's always interesting how those stories have changed over the years as we now enter a time period in which most students are too young to remember.

First period also had SSR, 5th period had an opportunity to share the thesis their group wrote on the 1993 DBQ.  Tomorrow we'll discuss the article, see you then.
