We started today by finishing the Reconstruction notes from yesterday, the PowerPoint is included below. We then read/discussed a primary source illustrating the obstacles to Reconstruction. The source of the words omitted and students came up with their hypothesis of the speaker.
We then focused on contextualization for Friday's Long Essay.
