Today in class, students, if needed, finished analyzing the documents from the 1993 DBQ. Groups then wrote a thesis for the question and wrote their thesis on the board. We then examined and discussed the merits of each thesis and if it would earn the thesis point based on the College Board rubric.

3rd - 3/8
4th - 6/8
5th - 4/8
So we have some work to do, but that's to be expected this time of year. I then handed out the Guided Reading for Chapter 4 (a copy is included below). Hopefully these will help provide you with some focus for your textbook reading this year.
