A case was made today that the essay questions were too similar to the DBQ. Upon further reflection, I agree. With the exception of the first DBQ and Long Essay, all of these essays you are writing are new, they have not been used in my prior nine years teaching this course. As I've mentioned, the resources available for the resdesigned curriculum are extremely limited and the initial questions selected were a result of those limitations. However, I recently acquired additional resources from which I selected the new questions. While many people (especially those that did well on the DBQ) would have no problem writing an essay similar to the last DBQ, it's not what's best for you as a writer or as someone preparing for the AP Exam. So while some might be salty that the switch is being made, it's in your best interest and you still have the questions today given that I have texted them and they are included below.
**For some reason, the PDF link is not working. Here are the questions if you're here before I figure out what the issue is:
- Analyze the part played by immigration in transforming the urban social fabric of the United States between 1870 to 1900.
America.
Feel free to email me any questions or work you've done on these essays over the weekend.
